Explanation

When a point cloud from the Smart Construction Edge is uploaded. It is usually uploaded using Latitude, Longitude, and ellipsoid height coordinates (WGS84). However, most programs only accept point clouds in  X, Y, Z (Meter). To get the point cloud converted to this format, Smart Construction Dashboard offers the option to download a localized point cloud. When downloading this point cloud, you will download a CSV file with X, Y, Z coordinates in meters in the site coordinate system as determined by the chosen localization or coordinates system. 

To download the localized point cloud follow the following steps:

1. Select the point cloud in the "Data layers" tab.

2. Select the options button.

3. Select "Download local point cloud".

Attention

When the Survey is a large file (>100MB) it can take a couple of minutes for the application to prepare your download. Please don't close the browser in the meantime, your download will be ready in due time.
