Release note October-December 2023

We are pleased to announce the release of the Smart Construction Dashboard periodic update with the following dates and details.

Tuesday, October 3, 2023（JTS）

1	Enhancements	Data Layers	It is now possible to edit point cloud created with DTM. It is possible for user to remove unnecessary objects from DTM based point cloud.
2	Enhancements	Machine management	“Remote support” feature becomes available for rented machine. *”Remote support feature isn’t supported in north America area.
3	Enhancements	Project	Added the following Vertical Datum. EPSG 6319 NAD83 (National Spatial Reference System 2011)
4	Enhancements	Data layers	For Japanese users, the date format has been improved to display in YYYY年MM月DD日 HH:MM format.
5	Bug fix	Data layers	When calculating the amount of cut and fill in a large environment, the calculation sometimes resulted in an error. This has been corrected so that calculations can be completed even in large environments by performing the calculations on the server side.
6	Bug fix	Data layers	When zooming and displaying a 3D map, linework (Designs) lines could become invisible. Corrected so that linework is displayed correctly even when zoomed.
7	Bug fix	Data layers	When registering a design file containing multiple layer information, the layer names included in the design file will now be displayed on the Dashboard. (Previously, the file name was displayed as the layer name)

1	Bug fix	Data Layers	When displaying DTM/DSM Survey in mesh view, the Elevation could be displayed incorrectly. Fixed so that it can be displayed correctly.
2	Bug fix	Data Layers	When selecting the "heat map" display on the progress management tab, the heat map was sometimes not displayed correctly on the 3D map. Fixed so that it is displayed correctly.
3	Bug fix	Data layers	When setting the transparency of DTM, the degree of transparency could not be set correctly. Fixed so that it can be set correctly.
4	Bug fix	Data layers	Previously, each layer set to linework was displayed in white on the Dashboard. Fixed Dashboard to properly read color information set in linework.
5	Bug fix	Data layers	When displaying certain Surveys as a mesh, unintended Surveys may be displayed on the screen. Fixed so that it is displayed correctly.
6	Bug fix	Measurements	When calculating the optimal embankment volume, the calculation logic has been modified to use the Elevation of the data specified in the Preconstruction.
7	Bug fix	Measurements	When editing a polygon that has already been created, the CPU/GPU usage was high and the browser could hang up. Fixed so that it can be edited correctly.
8	Bug fix	Measurements	When enlarging the cross-sectional view of an annotation line, the main panel remained Medium and could not be displayed correctly. Fixed so that it can be displayed correctly.
9	Bug fix	Measurements	When viewing the details screen for an ICT machine, the "operating time" of the machine was sometimes not displayed at the bottom of the screen. Fixed so that it is displayed correctly.
10	Bug fix	Measurements	When displaying ICT machine icons on a 3D map, they were sometimes not displayed properly on the ground surface. Fixed to display properly on the currently visible ground surface.
11	Bug fix	Organization machine list	When trying to delete a machine from the machine details screen, it was sometimes impossible to delete it. Fixed so that it can be deleted correctly.
12	Bug fix	Measurements	After the previous release (October 3rd), when measurements were performed for the first time, the annotation list may be Status or the measured values may be displayed as an error until the measurement is Completed. Fixed so that it is displayed correctly.

1	Improvements	Data Layers	it is now possible to edit the uploaded survey data and re-register it as a pre-construction survey. This simplifies the process of registering (re-registering) pre-construction survey data. See below for details
2	Bug fix	Data Layers	In a project that registered a design file with multiple layers, loading the Data layers sometimes failed. Fixed so that it can be displayed correctly.
3	Bug fix	Measurements	When creating line or polygon annotations on Points cloud, parts of the annotations may not be displayed. Fixed so that it can be displayed correctly.
4	Bug fix	Linkage with Smart Construction Fleet	When displaying Ortho registered from Smart Construction Fleet to Smart construction Dashboard , it may not be displayed correctly. Fixed so that it can be displayed correctly.

Details of release items

1. Improvement of registration and re-registration flow for pre-construction survey

<Description>

Previously, when registering a pre-construction survey, it was necessary to set it up at the time of survey data uploading.

With this release, it is now possible to edit the uploaded survey data and re-register it as a pre-construction survey. This simplifies the process of registering (re-registering) pre-construction survey data.

４	Bug fix	Measurement	<" class="" style="box-sizing: border-box; width: 451.337px; height: 22px;">When user show line annotations on survey data, a portion of the line was sometimes displayed on the bottom of the survey data. This has been corrected so that the line annotations can be displayed correctly.</">
５	Others	Machines	Following detailed information about machines is added on each screens and email when transferring the file to machines. Model - Type - Serial No.

<Description>

When users register LandXML or CSV files as survey, user can now set any CRS to import data. Even if the necessary settings do not exist for a project or file, it is now possible to import data properly.

This has been fixed so that operations can be performed without problems even while data is being loaded.</">
3	Bug fix	Data layer	<" class="" style="box-sizing: border-box; width: 451.337px; height: 22px;">The “history of Preconstruction survey” screen showed incorrect information regarding deleted survey data. This has been fixed so that it is now showed correctly.</">

When DTM/DSM data is registered in a project, the display type included in the PDF report has been changed to "mesh view" so that the output is more beautiful than before.
