Introduction
This article provides a detailed explanation on how to set up the calculation of soil volume using a selected area as the reference plane.
The selected area can be used as the reference plane to calculate quantities from the terrain above and below the area.
feature
The volume calculation area is an area created based on the coordinate values of the arbitrarily enclosed area.
The volume calculations are performed by comparing the selected terrain data to calculate the amount of cut and fill.
As an application example,
The capacity of a temporary reservoir installed during work is measured with reference to the amount of fill soil up to the reference surface.
Procedures and Explanation
1. Click on the 【"1" measurement icon】 in the side panel.
2. Select 【"2" Polygon】 from the annotations.
This is a measurement tool for partial locations.
Left mouse click to enclose the desired area, right mouse click to exit and 【"1" save.】
Click here to customize annotation information.
3. Click on 【"1" Add new measurement.】
4. Select 【"2" Smart volume.】
5. Select the 【1 Measured Data】then choose 【"2" Terrain or Designs】 to be calculated and click 【"3" Calculate】.
6. The result of the calculation will be reflected in the tab of the polygon you created.
Click 【"1" ▶Smart volume】to display the heat ma and select【"2" Show reference surface】 to display the internally generated reference surface based on the enclosed area.
You can change the 【"3" Compaction coefficient.】
You can measure the amount of soil above and below this reference plane.
Regardless of the area of the design data, measurements can be taken within the range of the terrain data.
