Introduction
This article provides a detailed explanation on the EARTHBRAIN Smart Construction Dashboard.
This will give you an overview of the product so that you will be able to use it smoothly in the site.
Reference
Please refer to the specifications of the PC used by our company when using the application.
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 10th generation or equivalent
Memory: 16GB
Even with the above specifications, delays may occur depending on the size of the site and the size and number of data to be registered.
The following are cases where delays have occurred in the past.
Site size: 200,000 m2 or larger
Design data: 1GB or more / case, about 15 cases of data to be registered
Survey data 10GB (300-400 million points scale)/per survey
Annotations and measurements 100 to 150 items or more stored (it is recommended to delete unnecessary results as appropriate)
Long-Term On-Site Applications
If a long-term construction period is anticipated, it is recommended to divide the data by years to ensure smooth use of the application.
(Use case of using ICT construction equipment and 3DMG on a daily basis and surveying once a week)
1) Register the pre-construction topography and design data in use.
2) Register the downloaded final topography.
3) Change the SL3 file related to the connection of construction equipment to the new
Explanation
Product Features
By importing 3D design data and measured point cloud data into the web application, the amount of soil required for completion can be calculated instantly.
Furthermore, by linking with ICT construction equipment, progress management can be visualized, and the amount of remaining soil and accumulated soil can be grasped at a glance.
・Data is stored in the cloud for smooth sharing with related parties.
・Progress management is possible by integrating the construction history data of ICT construction equipment with terrain data*1,2.
*1 When linked with our 3D Machine Guidance and Komatsu ICT construction equipment, the history data is automatically reflected.
*2 Data from other companies' ICT construction equipment can be integrated by uploading manually.

How to use Smart Construction Dashboard
Example: Soil volume calculation (design range or partial range)
Select or enclose the area to be calculated, choose the function to be used from the menu, select the topography or data to be compared, and perform the calculation.
Example: Progress check
Check the progress of the construction work on a site efficiently from the under panel, and daily quantities can also be monitored by switching menus.
Example: Linkage with ICT construction equipment and 3D Machine Guidance
Construction history data is automatically uploaded from the linked Komatsu ICT construction equipment or EARTHBRAIN 3D Machine Guidance, and the topographical data is updated.
In addition, the constructed area can be extracted in csv format, etc.
