How to Use Hourly As-Built Updates in Smart Construction Dashboard

Introduction

This article provides a detailed explanation on How to Use Hourly As-Built Updates in Smart Construction Dashboard.

Feature Description
When enabled, the Dashboard retrieves updated As-built data every hour.
Data sources: 

• IMC machines → displayed as ICT_latest

• 3DMG / 3DMG Flex machines → displayed as 3DMG_latest

Important Behaviour of Hourly Updates
Hourly As-built updates are not stored as separate hourly layers. Instead:

• Each hourly update overwrites the previous hourly version.

• At any given moment, the displayed As-built shows all operations performed so far that same day, up to the latest update.

• The purpose is to present a single cumulative picture of daily progress, not a timeline of hourly snapshots.

How Daily Reset Works (Important Clarification)
When you enable “Get Latest As-Built Update” in the morning:

• The Dashboard will continue updating every hour throughout the day (e.g., 09:00, 10:00, 11:00, etc.).

• This continues until the daily As-built is generated, for example at 23:00.

• At that moment, the hourly As-built: 
  ∘ Disappears
  ∘ Is replaced by the daily As-built for the full completed day
  ∘ The hourly-update toggle is automatically switched OFF

This means:
If the customer wants hourly updates again the next day, they must manually re-enable the toggle 
each morning.

Procedures and Explanation

How to Enable Hourly Updates

1. On top of your Dashboard page, click the 【"1"Get Latest Asbuilt Update 】toggle


2. An explanation pop-up will appear. Click 【“2"Turn On】.
 

When “Get Latest AsBuilt Update” is turned on, the latest construction history of the day is retrieved and updated periodically (once an hour).

The acquisition of the latest construction history is automatically turned off at the timing of the Daily AsBuilt Acquisition.

If the processing for the previous hour has not been completed when the next acquisition timing arrives, or if the server is busy, the once-per-hour acquisition will be skipped.

The system will:

• Update every hour at the top of the hour 
• Automatically stop after the daily As-built is generated

Supplementation

Hovering over the As-built layer reveals areas where the machine operated that day.

You can adjust the display color under As-built Color Settings.
 

1. Select the 【"1"Color setting】after clicking the 3-dots button.

2. You can change color of latest As-built by clicking 【"2"Color setting button 】.
