Introduction
This article provides a detailed explanation on how to link Komatsu ICT construction equipment to a jobsite and set up the system to automatically obtain construction history data (using SL3 files).
This can be used to check the job site progress.
Procedures and Explanation
1. Click on "Project File" in the side panel
2. Click "Machine Transmission" in the "Project File" menu.
3. Download the SL3 file in the "Machine Transmission" folder.
*The SL3 file is a dedicated file for connecting Komatsu ICT construction equipment to the job site, generated for each site.
4. Import the downloaded file to each ICT excavator and ICT bulldozer and configure the settings.
*If you have purchased SC Remote license, you can transfer the file from SC Remote.
Komatsu ICT Excavator setup
1) Tap the Menu button and select "Komatsu Options".
2) Tap "Import Site Settings", select the USB folder, and load the SL3 file.
3) When the connection to the server is confirmed, the setup is complete.
Komatsu ICT Bulldozer setup
1') Click the "Tools" button on the display and select "Komatsu Options."
2') Tap on the "Import Site Settings" and touch "Next".

Options for ICT bulldozers
For bulldozers, construction history is obtained only when the as-built data acquisition mode is turned on.
*This button may be hidden beforehand depending on the setting.
Integrated terrain display including construction history data
・The acquired construction history data is combined with the previous terrain data and reflected on the timeline.
・Construction history data acquired from Komatsu ICT construction equipment is displayed in yellow.
・The data is not for a single machine, but for the total result of the construction history from all the machines in operation.

The color of construction history data can now be set arbitrarily.
・The construction history data reflects the total result of the history from the construction machines that have been in operation, not just one machine at a time.
1) Click on “Color setting” and set the color for each data, then close the window to reflect all past data.
2) To initialize the settings, click “Reset all as built color as default” and close the window.
3) Highlighting is done by hovering the mouse over any history on the timeline other than the current location which is selected.
Acquisition and reflection of construction history
*The default time for synchronization is 17:00 (daily update).
*Synchronizes the construction history data acquired from the linked construction equipment over the past 24 hours at the set acquisition time.
*Terrain data after synchronization is reflected on the next day.
*Since the synchronization time is not set to daylight saving time, in areas where daylight saving time is introduced, data acquisition will start one hour later than the actual local time during the daylight saving time period.
*When the synchronization time is changed, the data will be reacquired retroactively from the initial terrain date, so it may take some time to complete the data acquisition at a long-term job site.
