Introduction
This article provides a detailed explanation on how to set for ascertaining the soil volume for the entire construction area.
By registering the survey data as the pre-construction terrain (reference terrain) and the design data as the target design surface, it is possible to calculate the soil volume within the design data range.
Procedures and Explanation
1)Click the 【"1"Progress】 from the under panel.
You can check the current status.
*If "Preconstruction survey" is not checked, it cannot be set.
Please refer to here for the setting method.
"Set the target design plane"
2) Check the data registered in 【"1" Designs】 in the side panel.
3) Click the 3 dots mark of the data you want to set as the target of soil volume calculation.
Then select 【"2" Set as target design.】
4) After setting, click 【"1" Submit changes.】
Only one target data can be set per project.
Although changes can be made during construction by entering the reason for the change, we do not recommend changing the target data in the middle of a project of a long period of time, because the process will start over again from the initial registration.
5) Target data will be marked with a star.
The green check mark will be reflected in the target shape in the "Progress" section.
All items are checked in green to reflect the results of soil volume calculations
By clicking on the icon next to 【"1" Designs】, you can confirm the history of changes to the target data.
Calculation of soil volume for the entire construction area
6) When the registration of "Target design ", "Pre-construction survey" and ”Survey data" is completed or the acquisition of construction history is started, the amount of soil in "Progress" can be calculated.
Supplementation
Range of soil volume calculation
The calculated area is the "target design", and the Total (Cut/Fill), Remaining(Cut/Fill), and Over Volume (Over-Cut/Over Fill) can be calculated based on the design data and the survey data registered as the initial terrain.
Soil volume is calculated using a single representative point on a 50cm mesh.
【"1" Progress timeline】
As construction progresses, the progress of the planned cut and fill can be displayed on a graph.
The graph is displayed as "Fit" according to the construction period, but the period can be adjusted to 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year.
【"1" Daily progress chart】
Only the quantity of progress against the planned cut and fill is displayed.
The volume of soil compared to the terrain data immediately before the date of operation is accumulated.
If the comparison results in a rework, the quantity will be displayed as a minus figure, indicating that the progress rate has decreased.
The results of the volume can be 【"2" downloaded as CSV data.】
